Quiet Typists Keyboard

Have you tried the DasKeyboard with one of those OcUK huge desk mats underneath it?

Would take the brunt of the hard typing sound that currently goes through the desk :)

Yep, we did try some of my o-rings on there on a few of the keys, but as you say, it then wasn't nice to type on.

Hmmm, think I may try her with reds then (I have reds and o-rings and it isn't nearly as bad as hers).

Are there any decent ones for around £50? I'm sure there were a range for around that price, but can't remember the name?

You could try a sample cherry key kit. I think there was a tour doing it's rounds for one.

There are various linear switches to try with different weights

Then there is the option of using Gateron switches (Basically a Cherry clone which some people on Desk Authority prefer over Cherry). Unfortunately without physically trying a keyboard it will be hard for you to find one that she will like and this is a problem we all face. Additionally key caps make a difference too.
