For a few quid more you could get the samsung 320 gig f1 drive.
try and save for an ATI Radeon HD 3850 Pro 512MB at least.

It looks like you want it for gaming, So I would hold off till you can spend some more money on it. But that Razer Diamondback 3G mouse is awesome, I bought myn on wed. Truely amazing mouse with the goliath mouse mat.

i think 8600 is good enough for most games at 1280 x 1024 right?

without AA and AF.
 
Well for £10 more you can get a 3850 512mb pro much better and if you dropped the gimmicky mouse for a cheaper model you could do it and get the samsung f1.
I've always used intellimouse explorers the £10-£15 ones and it's never hindered me, I'd rather be sat with a 3850 pro and a lesser mouse than with an 8600gt and a "gaming mouse".

good idea.

thing is, the build isnt for me, and he pretty much wants that mouse :|

can i ask just how much better it is that the 8600? well worth the extra tenner?
