Does anyone know if you can get insured with a provisional licence with quinn direct? If so is it just a case of ringing them to get it changed to full licence once you have passed?

On there site it says "Must hold a valid Irish/UK or EU driving licence"

Thanks

Should be able to. If they only accept full licences they usually say "MUST hold a FULL UK/EU driving licence".

Just try the online quote and see if you can select "provisional driving licence"

Quinn Direct you say?

Avoid like the plague I say.

Been fine for me :) Surely you can't **** them off based on one bad experience? They were far cheaper for me (by over £800 i must add) than any other insurer.

They are cheap for a reason. Everytime I ring up they are unhelpful and inpolite. I have never heard anyone say a good thing about them other than they are cheap.

Rung them plenty of times myself and always a nice irisih lady on the toher end, yes can insure with a provis, i did and then just ring when you pass and they will refund you the difference of the remaning months if you payed in a lump sum.

i got a quote of £1200 tpft for a focus zetec 1.6, like people say its a great deal less then other companys and only a few have had bad experiences so i may give them a go.
