Im not really clued up but this show is going on about now being the best time to downsize and get a bargain small car with better MPG.

Personally I prefer bigger cars and I get the impression ya get a helluva lot more car for your cash if you avoid little hatchbacks.

Anyway, hes giving some guy a Fiat 500 thing to replace his Rover 600... to calculate how much cheaper it is to run.

First thing i saw was that the Fiat was about a year old. Surely they cost a good few grand to buy. So I doubt the guy would be saving much at all by the time he bought one.

Anyway. ya might catch the last 15 mins of it on ITV. see what you clever people think :)

That guy with the Shogun looked ready to cry with the "savings" he could make.

The answer take out another 5k in finance as well as his 6k in negative equity, great money saving tip, idiots.

The guy with the Rover could save £1500 a year if he just spent £6k on that Fiat. He'd surely be daft to keep the 600

I caught a bit of it. Did indead look like dwaddle.

Got me thinking, about what the government needs to do to save the motor industry.

Major reduction in fuel duty and either abolish road tax or bring it down to £35 for all cars, now that would get things moving.

Quentin is a legend..............................(in his own mind)......

Not so long ago he got done for clocking cars didn't he?

So annoying

Causes rage.

Thats it, sell the car that costs buttons to run, buy something expensive that 1/2 the size you need... amazing.

Whenever I see Mr Wilson, all I can think of is how much he looks like...

Everyone is at it. In the free paper there was an advert for the new astra diesel its ONLY £x, or only something like £180 a month, but has big savings on tax with it being only £35 a month and good economy.

Really annoying as it gets people into more debt as they prefer to pay more a month to save what they pay for a month in repayment of tax!

Just watching this the now - Did the Q man not listen when Rover 600 man says I've got a wife, two kids and a pram.

In a Fiat 500

Just finished watching it, he also doesn't take into account that the Shogun man does a lot of shopping and has kids and needs space, not a small peugeot.

I'd have cried if Tiff Needel made that program. Was a shocker, how can they even televize tosh like that? :p
