As above really.....
Though I do need to get a sim free version as will be using it with my work sim. Any idea where to get a cheap one from?

Also whats your views on this phone?

I think it looks good and has enough features to do me, after all it' s phone at the end of the day?!

Looks a very nice phone. Simple with features, simple to use as Nokia's are. Screen is fantastic. Its very stylish with being thin. Not actually held one so im unsure about the build of it, but I guess it would be good though.

Only places really to get one on the cheap would be ebay or your local phone shops around your area.

Just seen an advert for one of these on telly, looks very nice. Had smartphones for the past 3 years, considering something simpler when I upgrade in December, as I don't use all the features. So improved battery life would be firstly good :)

Looks very good - didn't know about the existance of this phone, I thought you refered to the "slide" one with the same model number (they seem very different too)..

Would you still want a sim-free version when you could go for this?

WoooHOOO! Some reponses ! Thanks guys was beginning to feel unloved!
;)

Right just been reading this review, and basically they are saying it's a good phone, however battery life doesn't look that good!
If this is true it will be the first nokia I've had with bad battery life - I've always found them great until now.....

Aye the slide and that classic are pretty much completely different phones apart from the same model number?! Wierd!
Would actually go for the slide if it wasn't so chunky, but as it is brick like in comparison to the classic will have to go for that one.....

That is a good deal you've found there, but do need a sim free one as will be using the work sim card in it, which I don't pay for. :D

Ive got the end of my contract coming in the next few days and i just cant decide between this and the SEk850i

Just received my 6500c today as it happens, phone looks bloody lovely to say the least.

Few notes though:
  • Battery cover seems very flimsy and is actually quite a pain to keep lining up so it closes properly, made of very thin plastic but once its on its on and looks very nice.
  • Phone actually seems very top heavy which feels weird in the hand but nothing to get too antsy about.
  • Nokia have changed the power interface once again so now i have no incar charger for my phone which is annoying, first it was the larger hole, then the smaller one and now its a standard usb connection!
Haven't really had a chance to give it a once over but from what it looks like its just a nice basic phone which does all your normal phone needs, the camera is decent and with the addition of the flash deffinently holds its own (cant believe my 6233 didnt have a flash!).

All in all it is a very nice looking phone which reminds me a lot of my 6233 in terms of functionality with the addition of a 1gb memory card, 348kbps 3g and the flash! lol.

/edit its very thin!

Excellent, thanks for the update!

I definitely want one, but just can't find anywhere that's selling 'em sim free at the moment! Also looks like it will be quite expensive sim free, if I can find somewhere that has them.....

I am also upgrading from a 6233 (which her indoors now has ;)). If it's as good as that then I'll be happy. It is annoying about the changes to power leads but I suppose USB isn't that bad, at least i can charge it from my pc at work and home. Only worrying thing is how long the battery last?

Is it as bad as they say?

I sold one today for the first time, the phone looks and feels (important for me) good,it is a nice simple and understated handset :-)
I prefer the sony k850i to the guy that was asking, but as far as phones go im a sony fanboy so keep that in mind.
Best bet is to pop into your local o2 store ;) and ask to see both!

Whats the actual battery life supposed to be? I've got an N70 at the moment and after a 15min phone call or a day of standby i have to charge it. If this phone could last 3-4days with a few phone calls then i'd be happy!

hi was wondering.....i was reading the specs on thier site and it says it has a 1gb internal memory but mentioned nothing about being able to upgrade it. So for those who know more then me, can it be upgraded and what sort of memory does it take?

It cannot be upgraded

I really like both but neither are available on t mobile hopefully they will be soon.

The SE 850 feels very clunky is comparison

I'm getting one of these soon, can upgrade on Friday and this is free....always liked slim phones....the problem with slim phones is they usually have small batteries. Oh well.
