Quitest 120mm Fan?

Hi all,

Im currently using an XP120 with Vantec 'stealth' 120mm fan - I think the fan is on its last legs (ive had it two years) its not as quiet as it used to be.

What is a decent alternative?

You can get some really quiet fans but the trouble is you also need a little power as its cooling the HS. You want to be looking at something with a high CFM count and low db. Akasa Ambers are quiet but dont push a lot of air. Deltas are like jet engines...loads of air and loads of noise. You want to be looking for something inbetween like Yateloon or panaflow which are very good but pricey.
 
Thanks for replys guys. Panaflow seems the best choice as not only is it pushing a lot of air but it is also quite.

Are there lots of Panaflow models>
 
OCUK don't stock Noctua, Sharkoon or Panaflow. Not sure why if they are supposed to be amongst the best fans out there. Unless they know something we don't. The quietest 120mm fans that OCUK sell as far as I know are the Scythe S-FLEX range.

They also stock the pabst one mentioned in that review. The sycthe is better though, probably the best that they stock.

They have been asked many times to stock various silent fans but never seem to take much interest.
 
Sharkoon are great i have two 120mm fans at 1000rpm i cant hear them at all and they push a good amount of air
