was talking to tom_nbk about my gfx card and im thinking of selling up.

ive had a lot of fun but i want an xbox360 as pc gaming is a bit dead atm.

i cant see crysis coming out till summer, and i could always fix up a cheap c2d system just for it.

anyone else in this dilemma ?

i can get about 500 quid back i think, and i was gonna upgrade anyway!
 
I do not like consoles and although games are optimised for them as hardware is static they are now only ever going to be DX9C, I do have use of one as my pals have them.

Games are due Sep-Nov, inc Crysis unless delayed, it should be a busy month.
 
hmmm for me i probably wont be able to afford the games either.


ive failed my retake of year one in uni due to playing bf2 instead of doing cw, so i thinking about packing gaming in altogether tbh!
 
I love playing consoles personally but the games cost too much, like the last time i bought a game was for the PS2 over a year ago and it was Fifa street and cost me £34.99 and i completed it in 2 days.

It does seem a tad silly to sell off your PC to buy a dedicated gaming machine when your habit has just cost you a few thousand pounds ...
 
Yeah I was thinking about the same thing. But to truly enjoy the 360 I'd have to get at least a 32 hd tv and I can't afford one of them yet. Couldn't really play the 360 on my 19" lcd, don't think I'd enjoy that to be honest.

When I've got a HD tv (hopefully end of summer) then I'll think about getting a 360. The failure rate of the thing is also putting me off. Hopefully a new revision might be out around xmas and I can bet you you'll be able to get some cracking 360 deals over that period.

For the time being I've bought a 1950pro to keep me ticking over. I was going to spend it on a 360 but as above I didn't. Still haven't played Oblivion, BF 2142, company of heroes etc. and still loving BF2.
