I've just had a quote from ATS for repairs on my car, the total is £433 for whats required.

Brakes (including pads, discs, the thing that pumps the fluid is leaking) for £273, and set of 4 tyres and wheel alignment for £160.

Is this a good deal?

Depends a lot on what car it is and what size the wheels are.

If you have an F430 then that seems cheap, I wouldn't let ATS do the work though.

Ford Fiesta 1.3, not sure on size of tyres, standard i guess!:) and michelin tyres

Likely to be 13 or 14" steelies?

Ever worked on a car before? Brakes are something I like to do myself however most people would probably get the leaky pump fixed by somebody else.

discs and pads shouldn't be more than £40 from a decent motorfactor, master cylinder I assume needs replacing won't be more than £50. Then max 1 hours labour which is usually around £35 from a local garage. You can see now how much you are paying extra.

The tyres as if you say they are michelin are not a bad price. Probably cheaper if you bought them from mytyres and got them fitted but not really worth the hassle.

I agree with GT3 prices.

Infact, I would be tempted to call your local Ford garage and get a price for Ford OEM parts.

They are suprisingly well priced, I often find them cheaper than Halfords and smaller motor factors.

Also, I have this thing about using original parts on my car.

The thing I'm worried about is that when I brake now, i hear the grinding noise of the brake pads against the discs as they are so worn so im kinda in panic mode
