I have my own monitor. Any thoughts? My first question I asked them was the type of PSU they supply and I await conformation. Whats the rest of the system like for the price? I also get free Vista premium upgrade.

what's the price of it?

EDIT: oh sorry see it now

that's a really nice rig there, is that like a package deal? what's the price of all them components separetely then?

I cannot get the price of separate components to come close enough to warrant me having the hassle of building it myself. I could then add or sell some of the parts in my sig. On the other hand I could wait until they ship with Vista rather than take the vista upgrade path?

Personally, I'm not touching vista until atleast 1 major patch update in. Work has offered me a copy, but I just don't think it's worth the hassle and trouble it's likely to cause initially.

It seems like a solid rig, just one quick question, what manufacturer is the RAM?

To me, the best part of the package is the 3 year onsite warranty, but thats the part of me that thinks what can go wrong, will go wrong :)

It is fairly near to just buying the individual parts on OcUK so they can't have much of a margin for building it and since I don't know if the OEM copies of XP from OcUK come with a Vista Upgrade(for whatever that is worth) then I'd say go for it, provided of course that the PSU is semi-decent. Personally I'd still build my own because I like the satisfaction and experience of building a PC but if you don't have the time/inclination then that does seem like a fair deal. :)

//edit I'm not at all sure how well the Foxconn motherboard will overclock, they do make solid motherboards normally but that doesn't necessarily make them great for overclocking. The system I was specifying came with a DS3 so that might be an area to save a bit of cash.

Thanks for all the replies. You have given me some thoughts. I thought the price for a pre built system that I have tweaked from a major company with warranty onsite was good. Its just will it go up in price son or down after christmas. But doubt any of us can answer that.
Not sure given the vista comment whether to wait till vista is as stable as XP. Also could keep present card and save more cash :)
