Following on from my previous thread, and thanks to joeyjojo, i got my head around overclocking again, been 3 years since i messed with my old e6300.
Does all this look about right, cant quite work out if it is or not...its OCCT stable at the moment for almost 4 hours with a load temp of around 56c or 72c in HWmonitor lol
I originally was trying to get 400*8, but i had/have no idea on whats an acceptable volt to push through it, wasnt posting with 1.37 and i was too chicken to try anymore, where as this 320*10 booted fine.
CPUID says when im loading the chip in Occt that its using 1.31v vcore aswell sometimes drops to 1.29v no idea if thats normal either, considering ive got the vcore set to 1.37v in bios.
PCI-E is set to 100mhz and ive got +0.3v selected for the ram, which if i remember correctly takes it upto 2.10v.

should be ok for at least 1.4v (as per a q6600) long as your temps stay ok.

voltage drop under load isn't uncommon, what mobo are you using ?

Gigabyte 965P-DS3 Rev 1, F14 bios..Just ran OCCT in linpack mode and its reaching 74c in occt and hwmonitor but showing 59c in core temp, confusing as heck lol.

Only thing that throws up errors is Prime, but OCCT ran for 4 hours last night and was fine, Linpack just finished after an hour.

After some messing around, i upped the FSB to 356 with a multi of 9..SPD setting in bios to 2.0 divider i think..added 1.33V to vcore and booted up...CPUID now says im running a 1:1 ratio but 356mhz, so i suspect thats not right either.? Rated FSB 1423.9 which is higher than the previous screenshots above...Right now im all confused.
