QX6700 Quad Core Should i sell now

I have a QX6700 quad core CPU and thinking I should sell it now and get a good price (£450-500) or just hold onto it. Is it true that theses CPU's are coming down in price over the next few months and a new True quad core CPU is coming out.

Sell it, sell it fast. I sold my Q6600 & nicked the E6600 out of the Mrs Rig.

well i've stuck it on the auction site and will get a a E6320 for the time being as i've seen one on there for £90 so it should do me for now, unless anyone has another idea for a chip i should get

i agree, 2 weeks ago i bought the Q6700 and it is an awesome chip.

Even if you sell it now your going to make a loss. OK so it might run a little hotter than the 45n ones but ive got a tunig tower cooler and oc'd to 3gig it rarely goes ove 40 degrees.

Keep it, make the most of it and only change it if they bring out one that is way way faster.

well if i get the £500 i'm asking then i will sell it but if not i'll just keep it

My QX6700 quad core is at 3.2 on a Tuniq and my case is next to a radiator (which is allways on) and it runs fine, just check your paste and like everyone has said just a small amount.
