when i start the computer,i get the bios screen then it turns off after about 3seconds. When i could get in the bios the temp was reading mid 80's. the case has good airflow and am using standard intel hsf.

Any ideas guys/gals?

hi, yeah, i've taken it off, cleaned the hsf and cpu, reapplied the thermal paste, rotated the hsf in all directions and it stilldoesn't cool it down :mad: could it be a dodgy hsf? all the fans spin as they should.

when i've taken the hsf off there is a perfect circle on the cpu, so i think it does sit evenly. I just don't understand why it is taking the heat away
