QX6700

Got me a QX6700 cheap from evilbay recently, been playing around with it, got 3.2ghz 1600 fsb 400x8, 1.33v, idle temps are around 47,47,42,44c, goes upto around 61c on all four when folding at 100%

How much does the QX6700 retail at, cos the Q6700 is about twice as much as the Q6600?!

i would be hoping for a better oc than that for a extreme processor. I had my q6600 @ 3.6ghz

using a zalman 9700 nvidia edition, im happy with 3.2, its the 1600mhz fsb that i really like, i got this of ebay for about £150

I got a QX6700 from another forums for £150 and bunged on the bay and got £220 within 10 mins. Easiest money i ever made! Decided to stick with my Q6600 as that clocks just as well.

Think i've heard about the Intel price cuts, aren't the Q6600's [apparently] dropping to £120-ish ? :S

Remember the QX6700 is only available in B3 stepping so 3.2Ghz at 1.33V is a very good clock. My B3 is at 3.33 but needs 1.44V.

I've got my QX6700 sat @ 3.2 but had it up to 3.5 with a voltage increase

I've had it since launch and been thinking about selling it and getting something else, but then I think it does everything I throw at it well so no point.
