Hi all.

My brother has just passed this pc onto me and he has overclocked it to 3.2ghz but I was talking to a pal the other day and he reccommends that I overclock it some more to around 3.6ghz to make use of my graphics cards.
I would ask my bro to do it but he is away in Iraq so I have to try myself.

Could someone please post some tips how to do it or is it even possible.

Many thanks

If it is the qx6700, up the multiplier by one, then test with intel burn test. If it passes 30 passes, go back to the bios and put the multiplier up by another one.

If the above looks like rambling, research will help far more than asking general questions here

Simply increasing the CPU Multiplier should overclock it as this is unlocked on the QX range. However you may also need to tweak the CPU Vcore.

Try setting the CPU Vcore to 1.5v to begin with, FSB to 400 and the CPU Multi to 9.
