cant find the 9650 on the site at all not even with the search function??

how good are these chips going to be, worth the price or not? or better off waiting for newer ones again?
 
I think the core 2 q6600 are going to be a steal if they drop in price or 2nd hand. You can overclock to get that 7% :p and if you dont have water cooling you could get it with the money you have saved and thus overclock even more :D

what i meant was its 100's more than a q6600 but only a little bit faster, so not worth the price?

when are the biggest jumps in cpu speed coming for games and apps? hmm
 
So is there a hard/rough release date for these new Penryn chips yet? I was planning a new system, but I dont mind waiting another month-ish if they're going to be out soon.
