Thats a bum then isn,t it what high vcore did u feed it .I might have to stick to 3.8ghz at 1.42 vcore seems stable there but 4ghz wants like 1.5vcore which i think is abit dangerous.

The GTL voltages (4 of them related to CPU) will prob be set up for 65nm CPU at AUTO (I know that's the case on a Asus P45).
Get over to XS Forums and read the threads on how to work out your needed GTL Voltages and try that.
