R.A.T Mouse

Hi all, i tried to search this online but couldn't find anything.
Today I got my rat mouse, and it's very nice, it's plugged in right now and working fine, but when i turn it upside down, there is no red light coming from the bottom?

Sounding a bit newby, but is this normal for a laser mouse, as on some picture I've seen it looks like it's meant to have a red light? thanks

Yes it's normal, optical had the red 'light'. Laser isn't visible.

They add it in on the website rofl. Laser mice don't have red lights and probably never will.

The only red light is on the side showing your DPI status , A very good mouse , It can move your pointer about though sometimes with the vibration of music or explosions going on about , but being sensitive is not necessary a bad thing .
One thing i notice Once in a while i have to wipe the laser area or it wont work , I dont think iv ever had to with a regular red light style mouse .

When did you get the mouse, they added the Avago 3090 recently to the RAT3 recently, it has a red LED. What version do you have?

Rat 7 here, no red light either, just one for dpi indicator.

Bloody hell people! It's a marketing thing, they are photoshopping it on there to make it look cooler.

The lasers just ARE NOT visible.

Mmm despite what some of the marketing material around would have believe, laser mice don't actually look like laser sights when you lift them up.

Did not know that, despite this...my point stands, you don't see lasers on laser mice. Optical yes, laser...no.

I might have to get myself one of these mice haha but its very bad that they Photoshop the light in I wonder how many people have had the same reaction as you

I know, it's very misleading, It's the first time owning a laser mouse, only reason i ask, Been using the mouse a couple of days now. Very nice!
