There is a deal on at the moment, if you pre order Red Faction Armageddon you will get all the other red faction games. Problem is its restricted in the uk.
Does anyone know why? iv asked on the steam forum but no reply.
I hate seeing that deal on the steam homepage but when i click it says its not available!!!

If i bought this on the us store would it appear on my account? apparently that works but i dont want to do it in case it is illegal and i get my steam banned.

Hunted Demon Forge was pulled from the UK on Steam pretty much on the day it was released. Have read that people have changed region to get it from the US store - is it bannable - have no clue

i just tried it, i get an error just before it directs me to paypal. so i think if you got around that error you would be banned.
Wasn't metro 2033 like this for pre order? i remember trying to pre order it but i couldn't because it wasn't in my area.
 
THQ have contracts with bricks and mortar game stores to keep their games off Steam for a while. How long this "while" is, I don't know. And why it's only in the UK, I don't know.

Its retarded though as I've actually got the game on my wishlist on steam from about 8 months ago lol. Its pretty much suicide now to just launch games physically without digital download options as a lot of gamers seem to purely buy digitally due to sales and the prospect of having all your games under 1 program etc. Brinks player base is suffering massively due to the UK steam store not having it on, especially when you look at a game like terraria which is steam only and has thousands of players on it at any one time lol.

Brink is Steamworks and cheaper elsewhere. Claiming Brink is suffering due to it not being on steam is ********.

How do you account for the low player numbers then on it already? Terraria has more active players most times of the day lol
