Got one of those Wattage meters the other day and finally hooked it up to my home rig.

[email protected] (266*9) - 88w idle - 126w load 43c
[email protected] (300*9) - 90w idle - 130w load 45c
[email protected] (333*9) - 93w idle - 138w load 47c
[email protected] (350*9) - 92w idle - 136w load 50c
[email protected] (360*9) - 94w idle - 142w load 53c
[email protected] (367*9) - 96w idle - 146w load 54c (unstable after 5mins)

All at 1.35v in the bios (lowest setting) my cpu need a 1.4v to get above 3.3 stable

Only an extra 20w from 2.4 to 3.3 much lower than I thought
temp are with stock cooler btw, Raptor as OS and R@H drive

I've got one of those plug-in meters too. It's putting up the voltages that really hikes the watts used. My system uses almost identical amounts of power at the same speeds as yours. Mine is a E6550 with two HDD and a low power GPU (NV 7200GS)
