On a side note, it’s a little unusual how long it took the usual news places to pick up on this story, even the beeb - which says “His daughter, Mariana Givens confirmed his death on her Facebook page earlier this month”... 9 days after his death was announced.

Yeah, bit weird. I guess perhaps plenty didn't know his name, but more so his creations/arts, but Bugs et al were very big & been out for decades so would've thought it would've been out in the news feeds long before now.
