R.I.P Carl Reiner

Died at the grand old age of 98.

Comedy genius, great actor and by the sounds of it, an all round good guy. Apparently got to have one final dinner with Mel Brooks (a daily tradition before Covid) on the occasion of Mel's 94th birthday on the 28th of June.

This was just a few days ago.

And pretty much the last thing that he did.

Yeah, quite the icon. I particularly love the Steve Martin movies he wrote and/or directed; The Jerk, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, The Man With Two Brains. He was also a fine comic actor in his own right, and the work he did with Mel was super. A genuine legend.
