How old was he?

Well we're not entirely sure, he was a stray that decided to live with us! When we took him to the vet they said he was around 3-5 years old so he got to about 15.

Probably, almost certainly going to be a dog though! Mum's been pining for one for years!

It'd make sense too as they're about to retire so they'd be around the house/able to walk it lots.

To be honest they're still really upset about it, I doubt they're thinking about what to get next.
