R.I.P. Ivan Reitman

I only know him for his Ghostbusters and Evolution work, which was in a league of its own. At least he got to see his son's work before he left us. RIP :(
 
He directed and produced so many comedy films that I still enjoy today. Stripes is fantastic, Evolution is played to perfection, Ghostbusters is an all time classic. Dave is one I've not seen in a while, but I'll hunt it out now as I have faded memories of it being fun. Didn't realise he worked with Arnie so much though. Twins, Junior, Kindergarten Cop and what was to be Triplets.

I hope Sky end up running them all again in his memory.



 
That's sad.
I spent a fair bit of time talking with him and his daughter Catherine a few years ago about the Behind The Scenes stuff on quite a few of his projects, learning a lot about the industry. Both of them were fantastic and had a lot of time for their fans.
