R.I.P Mel

Sad news. Mel Hopkins was a player I loved to watch in the mid 50s before Bill Nicholson built his successful team.

Last time I ever saw Mel, was unexpectedly when I happened to see a fourth division game between Bradford (not the City version) and Workington Town, shortly before both teams were eliminated from the Football League.
