Seems he got caught jerking off in a cinema once
He was caught with "Art" depicting naked underage boys in 2002 after a police raid on his house.
So yes, he's a pedo and somehow got the charges dropped.
I never liked him or his Pee-Wee persona, even if I was the right age in 85. I always found him highly annoying and teeth grating.

My understanding is that it was a porn cinema he was frequenting (so masturbating is kind of the expectation), and the child porn was a few dozen pictures in amongst a number of large boxes of vintage smut he'd bought as a job lot.
