Today is a sad day... One of my longest serving pc's has keeled over and died this afternoon :-(

Mid way throu a 2608wu... All is lost

Shes lasted well, working flat out pretty much 24/7 since AMD released the x2. With 1.6vcore and an AC Freezer orignal proved too much in the end.

You will be missed.

R.I.P 22/7/2007.

..... but on the up side, i now have room for another quad!

It was not a very good clocker, 1.6v was good for 2.5ghz. It was 100% stable thou..

You could even replace it for only £40 brand new now anyway :eek:

(though I'd rather have the quad of course
