Ooooh , very grand theft auto !

Ouch. :)

I was thinking it may be a tiller operated rigid, maybe even console operated, but not one like that. Having said that if the trim and tilt works then just washing the boat out may save most of it. :)

Why did it sink? Just too much water inboard or a hole?

Many thanks... she was a tip when I bought her, and spent many hours doing her up!!!

We had a bad storm this morning, she was on her mooring, bounced up and down over waves (North Westerly wind i think), picked up a lot over a particuarly big wave, water got into the stern. Next time it happened, was heavier at the back and more water got in.. a few of those, and she'd then go down like the titanic!

The hull looks sound, can't see any cracks. Engine will probably be screwed or not financially viable to repair, was under a good few hours. Ignition box, throttle, battery, pump, dials, possibly wiring will all be screwed. Hopefully the steering is all ok though, seats should be fine with a good clean and dry out

Oh, and fantastic photoshop :D Anyone else fancy doing one? Someone's printed a copy of the photo and is in the local island pub on the noticeboard... i'll add the Wilson one to it tomorrow

Ouch thats going to sting..... LIKE A SWORDFISH OR STINGRAY OR OTHER TYPE OF CREATURE WOT LIVES IN DA SEA!
Geddit?

Sorry for your loss, hope it is salvageable!

dont drown your sorrows, or let your emotions drift away, just remember the good times you and your boat had.
but seriously tho sorry about your boat :(

Glad some good luck finally washed up.

...damn trying to think of a good pun but it's not happening despite 3 pages of hilarious inspiration :(

Ok guys, I think we should put this one to bed now.

Hope all is well tres, I too didn't realise what a nice boat you had; thought it was some pappy wooden row-boat :D

Still, only 70 horse on the back? Pffft, you always need at least 100 + :D
