R Type coming for 360 live arcade

Looks like its coming for xbox live arcade.

The Australian classification website has just updated with a whopper of a scoop - 'R-Type Dimensions' is coming to the Xbox Live Arcade!

From what we can gather, the game is being published by Microsoft themselves, and not title creators Irem, who recently released R-Type Tactics to the PSP. The game is being developed by Tozai Inc, who are also currently working on the fantastic looking 'Lode Runner' for Xbox Live Arcade.

I'm a massive fan and have been crying out for 1,2 and 3 to be brought over, not some pansy mash up version :/ Sigh, where are Irem

I'm hoping Dimensions is just the name for the 360 remake. So R-type with pretty graphics. I'd be happy with that.

Agreed. A bit like R-Type DX.

Don't know if I'd get this, love the games but struggle to get past the first levels

Exactly. That's why I always wanted only the R-Type 1,2, and 3 series because at least they would have manageable amounts of enemies. Going from experience Dimensions will be stupidly hard and pointless as with most conversions of popular games.

I got R-Types from the U.S PSN. Damn you if your getting upgraded graphics
