Which one? Trying to keep it cheap, had bad experiences with AMD so im leaning on 780ti. Thoughts please.
And i probably wont overclock. The quieter the better and im running 1440p

Think you've said it all really.

Cheap - reference 290x
Quiet - 780Ti
In the middle - custom 290x?

The quietest of the lot IMO would actually be the Sapphire Vapor-X 290X as not only it's noise quite low when gaming but when it's idling or under low load it turns off the outer fans and runs on just the centre one, the thing will be drowned out by most stuff and with headphones is inaudible.

I've got two msi twij frozr or how I like to call aeroplanes. I'm unsure of amd again. But never say die. Are palit any good for the 780ti or gigabyte?

I think you're being a bit too quick to blame AMD when your issues could very likely be down to a borked Windows, but hey, who doesn't like upgrading eh? :)

I'd probably spend the extra and go with a 780Ti just for a change of scene tbh.

haha its more of an upgrade need and quieter fans. Ive seen the Palits go for £365! for a Ti im tempted even though it may be a pile of tosh!

MSI 290X on offer this week at overclockers.co.uk, £359.99 + 3 free games, and the new frozr cards are better than the old models that you're currently using, bigger fans etc..

780ti superclock ACX edition here

Pros Silent efficient and no driver issues. Performs well on high/ultra settings in most games i play
Cons Expensive

Won't be upgrading for another 2 years so I don't care.

Quoted for truth!!!

Also they run SUPERCOOL on water!

On air with the Acx cooler this thing runs really cool too, so you wont be disappointed.
