 and nothing major has gone wrong. they reckon the 3.2 vr6 is only just run in at this stage 
 
When you test drive one, you will notice there are a lot of squeeks, and rattles. DO NOT BE ALARMED, they are normal 
 
if there is a rattle that sounds like a hamster wheel, that disappears when you press the clutch, thats a faulty flywheel bearing, and should be replaced under warranty.
One thing to find out is if its been on long life or normal servicing. Long life sucks, if its on it, get off it immediatly.
MAF Sensors are known to be a problem in the earlier models, can be bought aftermarket from BOSCH for around £60 and are easily replaced.
Invest in a VAG-COM cable, or know someone local that has one, its an invaluable tool.!
