This has a fair few pages about it on the interwebz, but so far, I have not found a solid solution.
Basically, I bought a Radeon 380 a while back, and in my AMD, its been a solid card. Never gave me any issues at all.
I knocked up an intel and in that, its been a whore!
It keeps green screening and makes a horrible buzz sound and that requires me to power it off.
I can turn it back on instantly and its fine for a completely random length of time before it does the same.
Now, it has ONLY ever happened when watching Youtube?
I have gone back a few driver versions and that does seem to cure it temporarily, but after a short while, it comes back.
Im not much of gamer any more, but I do like to have the occasional play, of course I do, and so the 380 is just fine... Heck, I got a couple of 7770 cards that I often plop in and I might just stick with using one of those - they play the games I want them to absolutely fine too, but I would rather use the 380.
Before I do swap them back over, is there an actual cure for this or shall I just accept that its never going to be right?
Like I said, it has NEVER once given me any issues at all in the time I have had it, when I had it in the AMD, but in the intel... It never lasts more than a day before it crashes.
Similarly, the 7770 NEVER gives me any issues like this.
