Hi 8pack could do with some pointers regarding the board, still waiting for my CPU to come back from Intel so can't test just yet. So in the meantime I have been doing some reading on the board.
From what I have read more settings seem to need dialling in rather than being left on auto, tbh this is what I did with the formula, certainly for benching.
Seen some folks using quite a bit of sa/vtt volts 1.35v+ and this is for speeds upto 2400mhz with 4x4 sticks!! Seems a lot to me??
Apart from certain settings in your guide are there any others that can help trying to achieve higher clocks?? Strictly for benching only??
Are there any modded bios's out there which you consider better than the ones currently available from asus??
