R4DS V2 - which micro sd card?

Kingston made in japan. Don't get the made in taiwan ones.

interesting - thanks for the tip

No, some media requires fast transfer speed.

you think i need a 'hi-speed' version then? - the blurb seems to indicate ti doesent suffer from 'lag' no matter which card you use. Though i have been wondering about thsi.

i got a sandisk ultra III 1GB MicroSD....recomended due to faster transfer/access times.

There's no need to be silly. The Kingston Japanese ones are fast enough to do anything with the card but the Taiwanese ones will not load some files quick enough.

I bought 2x Kingston 2GB cards made in Japan and they are great. Some sites will tell you where it's made in the advert blurb, just a case of searching around till you find one.

What in this thread can be considered illegal? Is owning an R4 itself illegal? The R4 can be used for a variety of legal content such as MP3's etc can't it?

Oh come on, stop being all cocky. Everybody knows that it doesn't have to be used for illegal activities, but usually is.

The problem is, it is only a matter of time before someone asks what is an R4DS? Or where can they get one. Besides, since you can't link to a competitor, its not the most useful.

But if you stick to taking about micro sd cards then the thread might be safe. Just don't ask anything about the R4DS etc.

If the mods want to close it then they can, no need for being a Ms. Busy-Body when no harm has yet been done. The guy was only asking which memory card was best for his R4.

Calling me a Ms. Busy-Body?! Ha ha.

You asked what was wrong and I was suggesting that people stick to the topic and not drift off into more dangerous waters, as thats why threads often get cut. If nothing else, reminding those who might not know of OcUK's stance on such topics.
