Both the same price, which one is better? taking all factors into account such as gameplay wise, durability, multiplayer side etc.

Cheers.

Well, what are you looking for? They are both very different. If I want quick action, I run R6V, if I want long-term joy I play AA.

What would you rate each of them out of 10?

There both great games, but completely different play styles. Rv6 is more of anction fps game along the lines of Halflife 2 with some tactical elements. Ideal for when you just wanna get right in an have some fun.

ArmA is a tactical simulation (infantry mainly, but with vehicles to drive/fly as well) it takes a while to get into but once your in your hooked, some missions can take ages and there's plenty of micro-management for those that want to really get down to the nitty gritty.

Personally ive had both games since release (I got the Czech version of Arma) so had em for about 2-3 months, I still play ArmA on a regular basis, i haven't touched RV6 since i completed it (multiplay didnt really appeal to me), ArmA multiplayer is great fun though (when you get it working).

R6v - 6/10 Might be a bit harsh but i was always a great fan of R6 games until lockdown was released, ever since then its not been the same.

ArmA - 8/10 Wasnt all the impressed with the demo but i was the same with flashpoint, just takes time to get used to it. When you play shooters like R6v and 2142 its a bit of a shock to the system to play such a realistic shooter.

To be fair Vegas is much better than lockdown.

However having played both I'd probably say ArmA still even though I was expecting much more from it than I got (however I will "get it" in a few months). ArmA at the moment is way to unfinished for me to recommend it imo however after all the mods etc. are out for this game it will be very good. It's worth it just for the potential it has.
