Don't tell that to Morgan.

i didnt mean it in a derogatory way, but with cars i cant see why it would good to have the dash fashoned from wood.

i dont mind the the look of the black wood finishes you get in some german cars

People think wood adds class I suppose. Or its because it makes their cheap rover look more like Mr Jone's £50k merc :D

I have to admit wood on the dash is a bit weird.

Those wheels on a rover say just one thing . . . . . . . . . drug dealer !
The tea spoon and lighter on the dash dont help that either. Really needs lowering though.

The tea spoon and lighter on the dash.....

I think you'll find that is R124/LA420's truck ;)

I know it must get boring on the road all day but that's a bit extreme

Joking of course. But now that you say it I didnt even realise that was the truck:O

Love the new wheels. Nice buy mate. Suit the car good imo. Done the right thing.

When cleaning the car next time though, make sure you dont wash it on the grass. Water + grass = dirty tyre's / wheels :p Thats if you move the car right after you have washed it though, when the ground is a little wet.

Not sure about the wood though. I think it always makes the car look dated really, even more so on older cars. Not my cup of tea, but the wheels are definatly a winner with me :D

I like it. Could do with being lower as has been said, but not bad at all. Cool car for an 18 year old IMO. Wish I had had something like that. :)

Repeating what the majority have said, nice motor, nice wheels, just needs dropping a little. I very quick edit...

I opened the thread thinking 'Hmm, what's an R600 then?' til I realised it's a sneaky way of saying what car you have without actually saying the 'R' word. :D Nice one

Looking good!

To echo what's been said... lower it a bit more (just chop a few coils off the springs, it'll be ok ;)) and add bigger brakes. The 282mm ZS setup will fit straight on, but I think even those will look small behind those wheels :D

330mm Willwoods F.T.W!

is it just me or does anyone else think those new wheels need to be wider?

They do - 9", please.

Unfortunately, the trend for 'tall and narrow' wheels seemed to stem out of Max Power when it went a bit pear shaped - mid/late nineties...Diameter seemed to be everything and you ended up with 18x6 rims :/

Give me a sensible diameter and a lot of width any time.

Are those pics taken on Grantham Road, and then at the North Kesteven District Council offices? If so, I live about 4 miles away :)

edit: And the alloys look decent too :)
