R600 Benchies!

Not sure if these have been posted... little hard to search for screen-shots..

Here is the score in Winxp.

CPU:300X9
Gfix: stock
1280X1024

1600*1200 8*AA + 16* AF

So it's a bit better than my 6mth old GTS then.

Good to see some results on your average system for a change though ie. not a 3ghz quad core clocked to the ballz set up.

Wouldent this mean its not as good as an 8800GTX as far a benchmarks are concerned?

Any real game benchmarks, but I dont think these are real tbh, it wont be called R600 series... it would be X2900XT or something allong those lines.

looks like crap to me...the hardware specs on the card are pretty impressive though so maybe these scores are due to shoddy drivers?

Hardly, from what I have heard so far the drivers are more stable and better than Nvidia drivers.

An 8800GTS can get better results in 3DMark 06 in XP than the XP shot shows on here, but I dont belive these are real.

I dont think there is anything wrong with the drivers, I think its because these are fakes concidering its saying R600 series all over, with my X800XTPE I did not see R400 in 06 and other properties.

People are calling these fake as gibbo said when he was benching it errored when trying to identify the R600, and definitely did not come up with R600 Series as the GPU.

Get one on ORB and then I'll probably believe it some more

I aint calling it fake based on startup errors that Gibbo talkes about, its because it says R600 in those properties, and why has he got the score in XP over the specs part in 06?......

On one hand I'm kind of glad I won't have to think about upgrading my current setup. On the other hand I would have been delighted if ATI had pushed the boundries a bit further.

Immature drivers could be the culprit. I'd take these with a pinch of salt.

R600 isn't getting great press lately, is it?
