do you need two lots of the PCI-E connectors
I.e one in the 8 pin hole and one in the 6 pin hole

or 1*6 pin connector into two molex's ( have tried this and it shuts off the psu

You need 2 PCI-E 6pin connectors or 1 and an 8pin connector, 2 molex connectors to PCI-E 6pin should work tho, what PSU do you have?

Thread is hear on that somewhere, if you want to get AXX to the ATI Overdrive settings to OC card higher you need 1x 8pin and 1x 6pin, but you can bridge the extra pins with a wire and it works, you could also OC with other software instead according to others here.

I have tried plugging 2* molex in just cuts out psu, with one molex it just beeps
have 550w Antec truepower so should be enough

You dont need the 8pins, you can overclock just as high with 2x 6pin connectors.

Ok do you have 1 PCI-E Cable from your PSU?, If you do then plug that in either the 8 Pin or 6 Pin, then if you do not have another PCI-E from your PSU you need to find an adapter and hook two molex up to it then plug that 6 pin into the other port.
