R6VEGAS2 - Sound Problems

When in multiplayer (LAN / Internet), the sound for distant shots (i.e someone firing a gun about 20m+ away) / windows breaking cannot be heard anymore after a few minutes playing. Visa versa for the other players.

Tried updating all sound drivers and general windows updates. Tried patch 1.01 and 1.02. Tried switching before X-fi card and realtek on board. Oh, and when using the X-Fi card, the "silence" is replaced by popping.

All other games (Crysis, COD4, BF2, R6VEGAS (1st one) and some others) working fine.

Any ideas? Anyone else having this issue?

Its a bug in the game, I had it from day one, was waiting for a patch to solve it but dont play it anymore. Guess its still a problem which is disappointing, I also had problems with hardly any servers showing, its the only reason why I stopped playing it

when i last played it, everyone had the same problem, according to one of my mates R6 vegas(the first one) had the same bug in the Xbox version

Man, what a pain. Don't suppose you may of heard if this is in the pipeline to be fixed?

Can't beleive we are at patch 1.02 for this game and the original bug is still there!
