Just want to point out that while the 270 and 270x might seem the same, the 270 won't overclock as high due to the power restriction on a single PCI-E 6pin; the 270x on the other hand uses two PCI-E 6pins so it has more power to play with when overclocking.
AMD's reference spec for the PCI-E 6pin connectors is as I said for the 270 and 270x, but if board partners chooses to make the 270 with the same board/PCB as their 270x (7870), then yes of course the 270 would essentially be 270x with a lower clock. Some 270's have two 6 pins.
I absolutely hate what they've done with the RX stuff, horrible rebrand imo.
And a 270x will overclock to higher than that, unless the 270 is with a 270x/7870 PCB with two PCI-E six pins instead of one. There are also quite a few reviews that have managed to clock a 270 to 1050/1060, or higher than a 'normal' 270x.
