Hi,
I've recently purchased an MST hub to extend my current layout to 4 monitors. I have two monitors running through the MST hub and the other two via the DVI ports on the r9 270X (Sapphire Toxic version). After plugging in the MST hub, I've found a couple of issues. Whenever I turn on the computer, the monitors do not detect a signal and just go to sleep. I then have to do a manual shut down and boot the computer back on for it to detect the signal and for the monitors to work. Second issue, once I've logged on to the computer, my Creative X-FI sound card does not output any sound. The on-board sound works, but the sound card does not. Have done the usual troubleshooting, the only solution I've found is uninstalling the card from device manager and then restarting the machine again. After that, the sound card works normally. This is all a bit of a pain having to do this everyday, so just wanted to ask if anyone has had anything similar/know what the issue could be?
Thanks
