ok its been a while but just got a sapphire R9 270X card and seems like overclocking is different now compared to the x1900 days.
i see there is a power tune limit allowing +20% im guessing this is something like nvidias boost system, so am i right in saying once board power limit has been reached it will throttle back?
now how high can this limit be set to? i see 20% increase but i can get even more via bios. card has 2 x 6 pins so that plus the pcie slot puts limit at 225w max for the card.
how much can the voltage regulators take? if i mod the bios to like +50% or so or just set tdp limit to 220w is this safe or will the voltage regulators give out well before hand?
