R9 280x not showing up on gpu-z

Hello,

I just build my new pc. And everything seem to be going well installed all gpu drivers upto date. When I run gpu-z my gpu. Shows up as amd radeon r9 200 and on cpuid it shows as Amd radeon HD 7970.

Does anything know how to fix this as I'm not sure if I'm getting correct reading.

Sorry I don't have anything productive to say but I want to keep an eye on this. I have a new build that is doing the same thing with my Asus R9 280X.

A 7970 is a 280X and a 280X is a 7970.

Ignore it.
