When using furmark my GPU usage jumps from 99 to 63 percent, and my fan stays at a 46-40 (flickers instantly, doesnt gradually go up, same with percent.. e.g it goes straight from 40 to 46, not 41 to 42.. and so forth) and my temps are at a solid 80c when using furmark aftger 10 minutes.. but my fans are inaudible.

Why aren't my fans getting higher? DOn't have overdrive activated or any software to tinker with the fans.. I can't hear them. Even though this is great as it is practically silent at 46 I just want to make sure it doesnt over heat
 
it wont my 280x that i had would also max fan speed at around 50%.. even it was 80c (wish was very very rare)

average temp was 53c at load

sounds excellent then guess i should be pretty happy ;)

also what score do you get on furmark? don't really know where to compare scores to see if mine is running avg or not but I seem to get this result after a 15min 1080p benchmark (0xMSAA): BURN-IN SCORE: 5338 points
