I have a 290 on its' way to add in with my current 290x and I definitely will need a new psu to handle it.

tbh, I'm not completely sure what wattage that I will need, so I've taken a look at three different stages and the psus that I think look good at these stages:

I have decided that I may end up getting a third 290 if I get along with crossfire (never tried it before) so I was thinking that I might get a higher wattage psu to cope with that, but what would you guys recommend?

Not sure I'd be able to deal with the noise and heat of three 290s let alone two :p

A better option than three cards, would be to go with a single GPU solution..

Any how the 1300W EVGA is what I'd be looking to invest in, if you stick to your plans :)

If I stick with them, I'll be watercooling them ;)

If I don't stick with them, then I will be going with a 980ti or a fury x, so any of those psus would easily handle those

Would a 1kw be able to handle three 290s? as I am thinking that I may just go with one of those or stick with two 290s and an 850w if that can handle them
