R9 290 crossfire upgrade

As title says, would a fury or fury x be a upgrade, not going nvidia so dont bother saying go 1070-1080 as not paying them silly prices.

Im only @1080 but sometimes use vsr.

Unfortunately no card AMD has is faster than 290 crossfire.

Kinda, it is an upgrade, and it is single-card so stability will be better, but does that make it worth £500? I wouldn't say so. Gotta wait for Vega, hopefully this Fall/Winter.

If Crossfire is working as it should, the Fury(X) is not an upgrade to a pair of 290s. In games where Crossfire doesn't work, you should see decent gains.
