R9 290 Non Reference Versions?

so next few weeks then

surprisingly little details on them

I have a feeling they want to sell as much of the reference stock ....

I just want a quieter 3rd party cooled one - only thing putting me off getting one is the stock cooler

I'd kick myself if I wasn't patient for a couple more weeks since I've waited on a GPU upgrade for around a year lol ...

what has surprised me is the lack of advertising etc - they must be in the supply chain somewhere if only 2 weeks off - yet near silence .....

hey ho - BF4 is running at "almost" Ultra on my 570 @ 1200p - 50fps - I can carry on with that for 2-3 weeks without issue
 
Looking to get one myself and a new pc really and the waiting is killing me. However it does allow me to see what mantle brings and may mean i go amd and not intel.
. Maybe we will see a toxic version
 
Maybe. I can afford patience at the moment as I RMAed my mobo but once that is back... Waiting will be difficult. I'll have to get a new hobby over Christmas. .. maybe knit some jumpers :P
 
Me... probably longer but this is my first ever self built PC and my first desktop in ten years! I started buying components in October and want the blooming thing done! Or... I'll just wait. Maybe revisit Day Of The Tentacle or something with the onboard Intel graphics :)

18 months only?

I will have it for minimum 2 1/2 years (shortest lived GPU - GTX570) to 5 years (GTX8800). I doubt it will be 6 years though (9500non pro - moded to 9700pro).

(the 7950 lived only 2 months, but that doesn count :o )
