Can anyone recommend me a new case that can contain this outrageously massive card? My Antec 300 isn't long enough!

I don't really have much in the way of requirements, I liked the 300 because it was discreet, I'm not into cases that look like fairgrounds.

I presume you can't drill the rivets out to remove the 3.5" drive bays

If you don't mind going a little bigger I'd recommend the Phanteks Enthoo Pro

I bought one for a mini-project that I'm doing (productivity workstation) & wanted something discreet & quiet

What about the Fractal Design R3 case? My 290 is 29cm and it fits with about 1-2cm to spare.

The PCS+ has varying sizes listed but I've seen up to 31cm, might be a bit snug!

I'm wondering if I could just get some tin snips on the hard drive cage? I only need an extra cm or so. How tough is the metal on these things?

Go all A-Team on it, everything will be fine.

Not very tough metal, but if you don't need any of the cage, take the whole cage out by drilling the rivets out.

Some music to help you get into the mood..

My 290x did not fit in my Antec 300.

One hour of hacksawing and lots of swearing (and cut fingers) later. It it did fit!
Don't get me wrong, the hard drive cages had very sharp edges and were bent a bit, but it did fit!
