Hi everyone having just finished swapping my rig out into a new case, I noticed that while just browsing the net and doing some everyday tasks my GPU was running incredibly hot for idle 45c+ now while only doing light work my overclock is removed so that wasn't causing the high Temps (I have a pretty mean overclock) in the past Temps have never gone higher than 35c, after closer inspection the 3rd fan along my 290 (closest to front of the case) won't power on the other two are spinning fine. I've tried powering the pc on multiple times and everything it just gives a short quick spin then it's dead again. Any ideas?

Have you tried helping him spin with your finger? It could be the case of a dead fan. I saw at some point some for sale at least from China, not sure where though. If you come across a place that sells these, let me know please.
