R9 290 Upgrade

Hi,

I've currently got a Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Vapor-X OC 4096MB, but it is struggling with some games I am playing recently.

What is an upgrade from this card that will provide a noticeable boost in performance while costing less than £350?

I would like to support AMD, but I'm not sure how much better a RX 480 will be over my current card.

I have the same card as you, i've come to the conclusion of waiting to see what the 490 offers. Failing that, ill just hang on for the 1080ti or the next mid range card.

I've gone 290X to the Palit 1070 in the last month, so cool and quiet now.
Big boost in games + uses way less power from the wall.
