Hi, At the moment I have thre gigabyte windforce r9 290 oc .I am going to get another R9 290 and I'm wondering what would be the best option, temps and noise being my main cocern. Is there a custom fan model that exhausts out the back of the tower?

Whats your board spacing like, and what sort of temps do you currently get with three wf models?

Your case (if original Phantom) is ok for airflow, not great but adding a side fan (does not come with one) will help SLI/Crossfire but be ideal if you had Exhaust Blower GPU's as air will be blowing about all over inside of case heating other parts.

Did you fit a 140mm fan to front intake (does not come with a fan)?

Yes I have a 140mm front fan but no side fan as my noctua cpu cooler leaves no room, theres 2 200mm fans exhausting up-top also.
I'm really not wanting an exhaust blower gpu as the noise is too much for my good lady to handle.

Do you use the HDD bays?

The little rear one unscrews but main one is riveted in place.

You could use the fan holes bellow those bays for intake fans to blow up towards the GPU area.

TBH I upgrade from your case to the 630 as better airflow/more included fans/better modular design/more space behind Mobo tray for cables and SSD mounts.
